Deep Learning is a subfield of machine learning focused on algorithms inspired by the structure and function of the brain, called artificial neural networks. It plays a vital role in enabling machines to process and learn from large amounts of data, leading to advancements in various areas such as computer vision, natural language processing, and speech recognition. Deep Learning models excel at recognizing patterns and making predictions, helping us automate complex tasks, improve decision-making processes, and push the boundaries of artificial intelligence research and applications.
I am a Research Assistant Professor in Hong Kong Baptist University at the department of mathematics.
I received my B.Eng. degree in Software Engineering from Jinggangshan University, Jiangxi, China, in 2013. After graduation, I worked as a Java application developer at the Shenzhen branch of International Business Machines (IBM), supporting Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong. I then returned to academia and obtained my M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, China, in 2020 and 2024, respectively, under the supervision of Prof. Porf. Yunming Ye. During my Ph.D. studies, I also served as a research assistant for Prof. Michael K. Ng at The University of Hong Kong from 2023 to 2024.
I join in Hong Kong Baptist University as a Research Assistant Professor!
8 October, 2024I have one paper accepted by Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing!
20 Aug, 2024I have passed the Ph.D. degree formal defense at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen!
